My name is Christopher Yeldon, I am a current graduate of the Honors Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Ottawa.

I am currently looking to join a team where I can apply my business experience and skills in entrepreneurship, digital marketing and social media communication strategies. 

My studies at the Telfer School of Management focused on growing Canadian businesses, creating corporate and government marketing strategies and developing better communication. I have also been able to work on creative marketing projects focused on small businesses around Montreal and Ottawa.

My strong work ethic and determination has allowed me to reach this stage in my academic and professional career and I believe I can be a successful additional to any team. Coming from a family of eight, I truly believe in equality, team spirit and hard work.

To support my studies, I have worked as a CPGA certified golf instructor. I have worked at private golf clubs in management positions in a service focused environment. Working at golf facilities in both Hudson, QC and Toronto, ON, I have developed strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and French.

I completed a Professional Golf Management program at the Humber Business School in Toronto in 2010.

I graduated with the highest average in the PGM Program. The classes focused on marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, retail manufacturing and sales. I have experienece in all of these areas from seven years in the golf industry.  

During my three years of studies at Humber, I worked as a paid student coordinator and was the direct assistant to the Program Coordinator.  I developed important organizational and managerial skills from working in a dynamic office environment. I greatly enjoyed helping and growing the program through events, trade shows and job fairs. I'm even on the PGM Program website! (check it out here).
